Why we invest
Herb Ventures grew out of entrepreneurial practice, not financial theory. We invest because we know how much work lies between a good idea and a working company — and because we genuinely enjoy carrying part of that work. Capital is a tool, not the purpose.
What we believe in
Good ideas matter. Execution decides. We believe in founders who understand their business in detail, speak openly about problems and act faster than they present. And we believe that long-term partnerships create more value than short-term optimisation.
How we decide
We decide personally, directly and without committee cascades. The first question is always: does the person behind the idea convince us? Then we look at product, market and numbers — honestly, thoroughly and through the eyes of a practitioner, not an analyst.
